Removed old flooring and rug 1st floor, stairs and 2nd floor (entire house). Installed new flooring throughout the house and new tile in three bathrooms. Installed new baseboards throughout. Carpeted stairs would be replaced with oak treads and painted risers. Met with rep at our home who asked questions, answered our questions and took measurements. Got an estimate back via email within a few days that was in-line with other estimates I'd received. Went with Ocean Flooring, as their estimates were much more detailed, they'd spent the most time with us (by quite a lot), and they had much higher feedback ratings than the others. Scheduled the work and they showed up and got to work right away. All workers were very pleasant, focused, and did very meticulous work. This was especially apparent due to the fact that we hadn't prepared sufficiently, and they had to work around us as we moved furniture and other belongings from room to room. Workers were very careful to avoid any damage as materials and equipment was being moved, and they made an effort (without my stressing the point) to finish work in a particular area so that we could minimize the downtime of our internet + wifi. They were also very courteous to our neighbors, not making excessive noise or blocking others in our small cul-de-sac. As the job was finishing up, the worker who was installing and painting the new molding did a little extra work on an area that wasn't part of the original bid; something that made our living room look much nicer. We appreciated that very much. As with most non-trivial jobs, we had some questions and a minor issue or two after it was all over. One of the toilets that had been removed and re-installed when the tile was laid down now rocked from side to side slightly. I was more concerned about the possibility of a leak than about the rocking itself, so I called and the owner came by the next morning. Based upon my observations, the issue appeared to be due, in part, to a problem in the sub-floor where the bolts were anchored. This was why I couldn't simply tighten the bolts to stop the rocking, and it was a pre-existing problem that was revealed when the toilet was re-mounted; unrelated to the recent flooring work that was done. Regardless, the owner had his plumbing guy come by that day and resolve the issue on that toilet. The guy also sealed the other toilets while he was there. I really can't say enough good things about this company. These guys know their stuff; they get the job done right. Scott S.
They did a 20×20 family room addition with fireplace & refurbished our original hard wood floors.
Stuart & Gavin did an awesome job & meet my expectations. They are honest, friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, professional & detail oriented. Our hardwood floors look amazing & brand new! The family room addition is our favorite place to spend time together. I would highly recommend Ocean Flooring & Construction to my family and friends!
Ocean flooring is a wood floor specialist. They install and refinish all wood floors. They are professional, reliable and always striving to make their client happy. Highly recommend!!!
Great crew! Gavin is so attentive and the crew got in and out in the time we discussed. They were so helpful with the schedule moving to! I would definitely recommend them.
Ocean Flooring is a very professional, knowledgeable and a hardworking group. We had 2500 ft. of hardwood flooring installed. From the detailed and transparent estimate (Gavin), through very meticulous and competent installation (Omar, Luis and Angel) and on time completion, it was a very smooth sailing. We had a few, Ocean Flooring - independent setbacks, but Ocean Flooring was able to accommodate us, suggest resolution and maintain courteous attitude. Very good company!!!
Absolutely perfect! I moved into an old house and the floors were shot. I got 3 bids and Ocean Flooring was the best combination of quality and price. A friend had used Ocean Flooring with great results and they were recommended by my contractor, so I felt secure accepting their bid. I got a beautiful white oak floor (real hardwood), for the same price I would have paid for engineered wood. I have been doing a lot of work on my house, and Stuart, the owner, was unique in the attention he paid. He actually visited the job on a regular basis to see that I was satisfied with each step. He even fixed problems created by other contractors. Before asking for final payment, he came to my house and looked at the work with me to be sure I was satisfied. If you have been having work done on your home, you know this is not usual . Ocean flooring does all types of construction work, and while I primarily used them for flooring, I also used them to fix problems caused by other contractors. They are fast, professional and reasonably priced.
